Lesson: This life is supposed to go up, right? Or so the world tells us. This year I’ve been thinking a lot about who I want to be when I “grow up” and who my role models are and why. Lesson: Nothing is more important to me than my family. Living at home with my nanny, I can be close to my parents and relatives. I’m lucky enough to be in a position where I can be close to the people I love while I’m thinking about my own things. Set your priorities.
Lesson Learned: I started thinking about the people I really liked and why I admired them, and it became commonplace: they do what they want, say what they want, and don’t need anyone else’s approval. It’s beautiful not to care what other people think, and I find life much happier.
